I have had a quick look at your 737-800 product and have a few suggestions.
First of all I think as a whole the product is outstanding. Here are the few suggestions I have:
- I have noticed that on the N1 limit page the CLB power is higher than the CON setting throughout the climb and when levelling of at altitude. CON will be higher or equal to CLB power in all occasions.
- During a 2D approach (approach using V/S) when setting the MAA, V/S will go into ALT ACQ pretty much immediately which makes it hard to set the missed approach altitude. In the actual airplane, provided you do it quick enough, the airplane will carry on in V/S which is what you want to continue the approach to minimums.
- During climb the wind and groundspeed indications behave very twitchy (maybe a MSFS issue?)
- I have had the overwing exits showing open during take off when a preset panel was loaded before take off.
- During cruise the thrust levers and N1 behave twitchy. In real life the EECs manage the thrust and only a large change in speed will make the thrust levers move. N1 in real life is much more sluggish when reacting to speed changes (sometimes too slow on the 737). PMDG 737 works too well 😉.
- The RNP/ANP is usually not shown on the ND when VSD is displayed.
- When selecting a SID the PERF INIT Transition Altitude will be pre populated with the actual transition altitude. In the PMDG it remains at 18000’.
I hope these suggestions will help you to make the experience more authentic.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Kind regards,
Roelf Kwant.
