I am happy to announce that we have just released the PMDG 737 NGXu BBJ Expansion for use with Prepar3D v4 and Prepar3D v5.

Just in time for you to do some VIP flying this weekend, we have pushed a full product range set of updates for the PMDG 737 NGXu product line, including the Base Package, 600/700 and CARGO expansion packages. I'll have a change list for you a bit later in the weekend, but this update cycle is targeted primarily at adding the BBJ airplanes to the product mix and handling a bunch of other cleanup details in the core 737 simulation. We also did quite a bit of work with the models in order to improve reflective qualities, PBR, texture mapping etc.

The PMDG 737 NGXu BBJ Expansion brings you the BBJ and BBJ2 airplanes with both blended winglets and split scimitar winglets, customized BBJ interiors, auxilliary fuel tanks, VIP SUV ground vehicles and a whole lot more to expand your 737 flying experience. Alex: tsk-tsk-tsk. I can't believe you skipped over what I wrote on the ONE occasion I made a short post. LOL (Power kept turning off/on here in Alexandria so i was madly typing that post between power cycles in hopes of getting it out before we lost power for good. Metro-Washington DC area is like an un-developed country when it comes to power infrastructure. It is ridiculous.) The system we use to track changes was taken offline for a major update for a few weeks and transitioned to a new system- so the entire tracking is outdated and i still haven't had time to get it caught up- so the change list will be brief and non-conclusive, but i didn't want to hold up the entire process to wait for a text file of information that most people never read. - RSR

Any changes to the paint kit or can I basically use the 700/800 kit with changes obviously the windows etc. I know the antenna on the tail is new. Asking because I don’t see a new kit posted don’t know if there will be one and want to get painting!

I just used the 700 paint kit. I just had to put a little bulge on top of the tail for the antenna and block out the windows which was easy.

One of the things I enjoyed the most with testing the BBJ is that the routes you fly can be almost any place, routes never flown by commercial carriers. This is a sample from my logbook:

KCRP (My home base Corpus Christi) - Kona PHKO (Direct)
PHKO YSSY
EBBR KBDL
NZAA VMMC (Macao) 11.3 hr full fuel and 6 pax in BBJ
Vienna LOWW Lajes LPLA

Matthias- I've mentioned this to Jason. We saw this during testing and I suspect perhaps the fix didn't get rolled into the liveries. We'll check and address it. ALSO: Jason is still waiting on Lockheed Martin to fix their completely botched reflective model so that things with a polished aluminum base (railings) don't turn a ridiculous blue color in sim... they should fix it in 5.1... but... who knows... - RSR

One question though, was the BBJ3 (based on the -900) not done because of production numbers of the actual aircraft?
