PMDG Forum Rules
1) SIGN YOUR POSTS. Since 1997, we have asked users to sign their real name, first and last, to all posts in the PMDG forum. We do this in order to keep conversations personal and familiar. You took the time to be here, we want to get to know you. This is one of the few rigid rules that we enforce regularly. We do so because we feel that forums in which users must engage one another personally are generally warmer, more collegial and friendly. Posts that are unsigned will be quietly removed without comment by the moderators, so to make your life easy- we recommend enabling your forum signature so that you never need to remember. Do this by clicking the username pull-down at the top right, then selecting "User Settings." You will find the signature editor on the ACCOUNT tab, about half way down the page. Look for "Edit Post Signature." Be sure to click the "Show Signatures" box.
2) BE NICE. We are all simmers here and no matter our differences of opinion, we share a common love of aviation, computing and simulation. Treat everyone else in the forum with respect even when you disagree. If someone frustrates you, walk away from the conversation or ask for a moderator to get involved. Speaking of Moderators, they prefer not to be treated as "The Thought Police" but if any behavior infringes on the enjoyment of another user or is otherwise considered to be unacceptable in the moderator's judgment, it will be addressed in keeping with our view of ensuring that this forum remains a healthy environment for all simmers.
3) BE LAWFUL: Any behavior that infringes upon the law, such as discussion or solicitation of piracy, threats, intimidation or abuse will be handled unsympathetically by the moderators. Threats and intimidation may, at the moderator's discretion, be provided to law enforcement for handling.
4) BE FACTUAL: When you post, always be factual. Moderators will remove posts that are determined not to be factually accurate.
5) RESPECT COPYRIGHTS: Posting of copyrighted material such as flight manuals owned by Boeing or various airlines is not allowed in this forum. If you have questions related to copyrighted material, please contact a forum moderator for clarification.
6) RESPECT PMDG: We love to hear what you like about our products. We also like to hear what you think can be improved, or what isn't working. Please do tell us and we will always treat your feedback with value. Just be sure to treat the team respectfully, as they do put a significant amount of effort into building and maintaining these great simulation products for you.
7) RESPECT PMDG DEVELOPERS: All of the developers will spend some time here. Given the ratio of developers-to-users, it simply isn't possible for us to answer every post and private message individually. Please know that we do try to read everything, but developer workload is simply too high to manage personal contact with tens-of-thousands of users simultaneously. In most cases, members of the development team will stick to conversations in the forum and will not answer private messages.
8) RESPECT OTHER DEVELOPERS: PMDG has always advocated for a strong development community and we have many friends within this community. Every developer offers something unique that helps to make the simming community larger and more vibrant. We insist that you treat our friends respectfully.
9) RESPECT MODERATORS: Moderators have a tough job, and none of them enjoy having to stomp out negativity. If a moderator has to weigh in to keep a thread peaceful, please respect that effort and refrain from giving the moderator any grief.
10) If you require official support for any of our products please open a support ticket through the support portal, https://support.precisionmanuals.com
11) This forum is designed primarily as a vehicle for the PMDG development team to interact with our customers, and for customers to interact with one another in a manner that is positive, supportive and assists in the general advancement of understanding the simulation and helping to make this and future simulations better. Any other use of this forum is not permitted, including but not limited to discussion of pricing policies, business practices, forum moderating policies, advertising of non-PMDG products, promotion of events, services or products that are not approved in advance by PMDG or any other topic deemed unacceptable by any forum administrator
12) HAVE FUN: This is the whole point of it all.

Thanks for the feedback - I added a new grind sound that was clashing a bit with the bass sounds - the bass sounds on takeoff were redesigned a little to accomodate the new grind sound. There is now more sub bass than bass actually - so with a sub woofer they will sound more rumbly.
However, you have a point - in the next update, I will add back more of the bass that you were hearing before - most likely it will be even more bassy!
Coming soon!Last edited by Reynolds Number; 04Jun2022, 21:06.Armen Cholakian

Is it possible to get a refund for this product? Microsoft/Asobo will not be putting out any updates to late July which means we will be waiting until September for fixes to rudder and flickering displays. We already have the next plane up front and showcased with the 600 and some of us don't even have a working plane. This update is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Not only was my critical issues not fixed but plenty more critical issues with sound and visuals have also been added. Sound mixing has changed. Window tints and other changes to textures and what not. I'm all for making things better but visual and audio downgrades compound my already jarring issue with no rudder control.
That said I was actually happy with the plane as it was and was not complaining about stuff but after one update here we go with diminishing returns and onto the next product cycle already. Just not impressed at all.Jared Koscinski AX75

OK I am loving this thing! Yes, I vented on another thread the other day. But that was mostly about the Cockpitmaster FMC interfacing. It's still quirky, but I get it working faster than I used to. Also, I still haven't had a successful ILS landing. But that is mostly because I am an airliner noobie still learning all the buttons and switches and protocols. On the plus side...I haven't crashed it so far...and I have made 3 solid landings. Yes, in real life they would revoke my license for those landings, but they were all fun and relatively easy. So....at least I can get the bird in the air and on the ground now. Everything else will come eventually. Thanks for all the updates!Rich Hooker

Captains, In keeping with my update from last weekend, I'd like to introduce you to our new Wonder Twin, the PMDG 737-600 for MSFS This is our third product for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and our second of four PMDG 737 Next Generation for Microsoft Flight Simulator. She happens to be a favorite of the team because she is a
Captains, Back in March as we began to introduce you to our new PMDG 737 for MSFS product line, I mentioned that we were going to fundamentally change the way we approach product rollouts by bringing the 737 to you as a rolling development cycle. The idea came about because all of us (well- nearly all of us!) at PMDG are DCS
Right before your post, Jason responded saying the window tint was inadvertently applied and would be fixed in the next update, as per this post:

Lastly, just because they've continued working on another plane doesn't mean they aren't going to keep updating the -700, so I guess I'm not sure I understand what the issue is. I realize you're having issues with the plane, but it's not like they completely stopped trying to fix them altogether and all they're doing is working on the -600.

Hehe. It perfectly encapsules my emotions when I see two posts about the same topic, in the same thread, only one post apart from each other, from the same user!! (one is now deleted, thankfully). The sentence is by the way best pronounced with the voice of Nicko MCBrain.

so a strange think happened to me twice, while cruising in autopilot, suddenly the A/C banks hardly to the left and into a step dive. I have to switch the A/P off and flight it manualy, and if I turn it back ON the same happens. While flying manualy I had to trim the yoke way to the right to level it off. So I switch to external view and noticed the rudder half to the left, and a slightly tap on the pedals made it to the original position, and then I could turn the A/P again and fly steady and level.
I wounder what did happen as I never touch anything with A/P ON. Was it a PMDG or Asobo issue?
Did the same or similar problem happened to anyone?Sérgio Alves

Good evening,
As a person who works with Boeing 737 aircraft on the daily basis, I have to say I am a little unsatisfied with how are Wing Shake is simulated during pushback, taxi, and in flight phases of flight. It seems to me that no matter what the aircraft is doing (Pushback, taxiing, hard touchdowns, going over uneven surfaces, turbulence), the wing doesn't react appropriately to these events. Instead, we get a rapid small up & down bursts every couple seconds regardless of what the aircraft is actually doing. This is very noticeable during taxiing, when the wing makes rapid up/down bursts every 4-5 seconds in a repeated very noticeable cycle; then the wings would be motionless when you go through bumps/ uneven surfaces, when the cycle is in-between it's bursts and the wing is static.
I am unsure if this already had been said before, but I thought I'd put this here incase it hasn't been brought up yet.
